Barcelona · Impact framework

Measurable impact without overstating results

TRAMA BCN defines indicators for process, participation, education, documentation, learning and institutional reporting before presenting operational outcomes. In the founding phase, impact is framed as a verifiable framework, not as a claim already delivered.

Impact framework

Five dimensions of cultural and social value.

01 — Process

Documented participation

Record participation only when verifiable activity exists, distinguishing attendance, community involvement and mediation processes.

02 — Education

Civic learning

Turn artistic and documentary processes into resources for intercultural education, visual literacy and public dialogue.

03 — Mediation

Proximity-based bonds

Observe how cultural mediation can connect civic facilities, neighbors, artists, organizations and institutions in specific contexts.

04 — Documentation

Urban memory

Produce materials, narratives and records that help preserve migrated memories, experiences of belonging and territorial learning.

05 — Partnerships

Institutional capacity

Measure the quality of activated partnerships, possible continuity and the capacity to generate sustainable cultural infrastructure.

Measurement

How impact will be documented.

Each future activation should combine quantitative indicators with qualitative evidence to produce a clear return for institutions, partners, companies and participating communities.

Possible quantitative indicators

  • Activities designed or activated, when they exist.
  • Participants registered with clear criteria and measurement period.
  • Workshops, conversations or mediation sessions documented.
  • Civic facilities, neighborhoods or proximity spaces involved.
  • Educational or documentary materials produced.

Possible qualitative indicators

  • Observations from partners and host spaces.
  • Learning gathered during mediation.
  • Participant feedback when activity exists.
  • Narratives, images and documents with appropriate authorization.
  • Recommendations for future activations.
2030 Agenda

Alignment with Sustainable Development Goals.

SDG 4

Quality Education

Intercultural education, mediation and visual literacy.

SDG 10

Reduced Inequalities

Cultural access and recognition of diverse communities.

SDG 11

Sustainable Communities

Urban memory, belonging and cohesion in city life.

SDG 17

Partnerships

Collaboration among culture, institutions, companies and community networks.

Institutional return

What partners and institutions will receive.

When the program enters activity, each collaboration may generate synthesis documents with methodology, indicators, learning and verifiable materials.

Evidence

Activity documentation

Proportional record of activities, participants, agents involved and visual materials when activity exists.

Learning

Evaluation notes

Qualitative observations and partner feedback to improve mediation and the territorial model.

Return

Synthesis report

Readable summary of the process, partnerships, indicators and documented cultural value.
